Frankham RMS has worked with Chelmer Housing Partnership (CHP) since 2009 providing support to the Senior Management Team to ensure fire compliance.
Predominantly Frankham RMS have been completing fire risk assessments on sheltered schemes and complex buildings but also provide support to internal teams and fire safety training.
As fire advisors to CHP, Frankham RMS have also been able to make considerable savings for CHP by appealing some of the concerns raised by the fire service and finding alternative more cost effective solutions to the issues raised. Frankham RMS work with key internal staff providing fire risk assessment training enabling them to carry out fire risk assessments of non complex blocks internally. Frankham RMS continue to audit these to ensure a suitable level of competence is maintained by the internal staff.
Frankham RMS has also worked closely with sheltered scheme managers and have helped CHP to produce robust PEEPS for their vulnerable residents and assisted with ensuring that out of hours centres fully understand the implications of a fire within an individual unit and know which other units may be affected and informed of the situation.
