Water Quality of Tanks
Frankham Risk Management provide a wide range of services within Water Risk Management.
Legionella bacteria, under specific conditions, can proliferate in the built environment and cause Legionnaires’ disease.
Water quality within cold water storage tanks can vary from very clean to stagnate conditions. This depends on if the person responsible for the maintenance is regularly examining the water systems.
Tanks that are stagnate, usually contain slime and bacteria causing water borne diseases like Legionnaires’ disease, Pseudomonas or E.coli.
We assess the water conditions as part of a risk assessment to make sure water used for hand-washing or showering is clean.
