Trick or Treat…Frankham Halloween Bake Off:
For Halloween 2013, Frankie’s Fun Club (the Frankham Sidcup Office CSR Social Team) hosted a Charity Bake-Off, with a spooky twist!
Inspired by the movement that is ‘The Great British Bake Off’, it’s all about the Scare-Factor at Frankham for a Charity Bake Off. The Sidcup office received over 16 amazing cake entries, each entry showcasing an interpretation of the Halloween theme. The standard of bake was incredibly high (for the most part) and the judges had a really tough decision to make…
After several taste tests, the winner was chosen; Amanda Rogers and her winning entry (left), baked and decorated from scratch.
It’s clear to see that the effort level of all the entries was second to none. After the judging each slice of cake was sold at 50p per slice and the total added to the Dennis Wise in the Community – Big Bus Challenge that Frankham is currently working towards.
Following the bake sale, a selection of cakes were then delivered to Baugh House Care Centre, just in time for Halloween Afternoon Tea.
Corporate Responsibility is heavily endorsed by the staff at Frankham, which aids the company in its objective to please its clients and deliver to their expectations in a socially and environmentally appropriate manner.
Dennis Wise in the Community (DWIC) was founded in 2000 by ex-Chelsea FC Captain Dennis Wise and Frankham Consultancy Group Chairman Steve Frankham through a passion of helping others and improving lives.
DWIC was set up to help raise money for children and adults with disabilities. Since inception, DWIC has gone from strength to strength, raising over £800,000 in the process. All proceeds are donated towards various charities including: Parkwood Hall, Threshers Day Nursery, Northlands (Multiple Sclerosis Society), Demelza Hospice, Burgess Autistic Trust, Marlborough School …and many more.
